Do you need some Christmas sheet music ideas for an upcoming event? If you are like me, sometimes I let performances creep up on me, and I am left scrambling for ideas. Christmas is such a busy time for everyone, and church musicians are called upon to play the most during this special season. Playing and/or singing out of the hymnal is a trusted standby, but it is always nice to have familiar tunes “spruced up” in arrangement form.
I have gathered some of my favorite Christmas sheet music from my music cabinet and would like to share these resources with you. Some of the music was written by yours truly, and the other pieces are written by some of my favorite arrangers. I hope you can find a little inspiration for this Christmas musical season!
Violin

God Chose a Lowly Maid by Ashley Qurollo – This completely new piece will make a fresh addition to any special music schedule or Christmas program. Written for two-part ladies’ duet, this would also work well for a ladies’ group or ensemble.
I hope you found some inspiration for your next sacred performance!
